Property: White powder, melting point: 60ºC, soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, it is dehydrated into anhydrous compound when being heated to 95ºC. Under the temperature of 190-204ºC, transformed into sodium acid pyrophosphate, then condensation polymerize into sodium metaphosphate under the temperature of 204-244ºC.
